By uploading your musical work(s), you hereby irrevocably and exclusively grant BET.com LLC and its affiliates, including but not limited to Black Entertainment Television, Inc. (collectively "BET"), and BET-s licensees, successors, assigns, agents and those for whom it is acting, your consent and the absolute, unrestricted, perpetual, royalty free, worldwide license, right and permission to exhibit, perform, reproduce, distribute or otherwise transmit (collectively "transmit"), by any and all forms of media (including, without limitation, via all forms of television, electronic and online transmissions), the above-named musical work(s) and any sound recordings or music videos embodying said work(s), for purposes of any and all programs or other content transmitted in any fashion by or through any BET owned or operated service or outlet. This grant of rights is meant to include, without limitation, each and every copyright interest necessary for BET's transmission of said musical work(s) and any sound recordings or music videos embodying said work(s).
Further, you hereby represent and warrant that you (or companies which you control) own or control the copyright rights in the musical composition(s) underlying the work(s) you are uploading, and in any music videos or sound recordings embodying such work(s), and that such work(s) shall not infringe against the copyright rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless BET and its licensees, successors, affiliates, assigns and agents, from any liability incurred as a result of BET's transmission of said work(s), or music videos or sound recordings embodying said work(s), including without limitation liability for libel, defamation, invasion of any person's rights of privacy or publicity, or copyright infringement. You further agree that any future commercial distribution or sale fo the above-named musical works will include promotional attribution of "BET.com" and "Ya Heard". You hereby represent and warrant that you are age 18 or older. You acknowledge that you have read and understood this Consent and Release before uploading your musical work.
